JHANG: Shazia Hussain, a social worker, has said that vocational skills training will prove effective to help empower women of low income families.
She said this while addressing a seminar here on Wednesday. She said that the women belonging to poor families were often deprived of various learning and income-earning opportunities that could improve their social status and living standards. She said the Punjab government was offering skills developing courses through technical and vocational education institutions.
