Three milk shops sealed in Peshawar for adulteration

PESHAWAR: The KP Food Safety Authority sealed three shops due to adulteration.
The KP Food Safety Authority together with Livestock Department inspected Ghari Nawaz Khan, Zargaraan Bazaar, Miangaan Colony on the Bannu Road and near Mill Chowki, Bannu Road. Samples from 18 milk shops were tested at the Livestock Department mobile lab. Three shops were sealed for having water adulteration of 24 per cent, 33 per cent and 34 per cent, respectively. Rest of the results were found satisfactory. About 160 litres of milk was discarded during the operation.
