Coalminer killed in Darra Adamkhel mine fire

KOHAT: A coalminer lost his life while his brother sustained injuries when a fire erupted inside a coalmine in Darra Adamkhel, tribal tehsil of Kohat on Thursday, official sources said.
They said that the coalminers identified as Bakht Baidar and Naseem, sons of Umar Siddique, belonging to the Buner district, were working inside the coalmine in Akhorwal area of Darra Adamkhel when a fire erupted due to dynamite blasting. Both of them were seriously injured and were pulled out by coworkers but Bakht Baidar succumbed to his injuries. His brother, Naseem, was shifted to a hospital.
