Ombudsman off to Turkey

Islamabad: Federal ombudsman Syed Tahir Shahbaz has left for Istanbul, Turkey to attend the annual meeting of the Asian Ombudsman Association.
Being the president of the Asian Ombudsman Association, Tahir Shahbaz will chair the meetings of all sessions.
The president has made senior adviser to the Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat Ijaz Ahmed Qureshi the acting Wafaqi Mohtasib until Tahir Shahbaz resumes duty. Qureshi served as the chief secretary of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before attaining the age of superannuation.
