A team of EOC, led by Basit Khan, on first day of case response activity visited Torghar and sensitised government officials and parents. He told reporters in Judbah that over 1193550 children in 11 districts would be administered polio drops during the ongoing case response activity in Hazara division. “We have set up 5212 polio teams and 285 supervising teams and 162 provincial and federal monitors would supervise them in all eleven districts,” the official said. He said that on the special directives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief secretary, the commissioners and line departments were also extending their support to polio cause.
