LAHORE
The latest model of Computerised Radiography (CR) System X-Ray Machine has been installed at the Pet Centre of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS).
A UVAS spokesperson said the X-Rays were taken on digital X-Ray cassette and then this cassette was put into processing machine.
The machine was being used for all types of large and small animals in the university during the morning hours. The pet centre also planned to extend this service to evening time.
Meanwhile, a 3-day training workshop “Indigenous On-Campus Training (IOT)” began at UVAS on Monday for the first group of administrative officers.
The admin officers are being trained on various aspects of their professional matters including good governance, management skills, auditing and communication skills during the three-day workshop organised by UVAS Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad and Dr Aman Ullah were also present.
