CHAKWAL: JUI-F Senator Attaul Rahman on Sunday blamed the Punjab government for victimising religious community by registering bogus FIRS.
Speaking at Istehkam-e-Pakistan conference at Choa Saidan Shah, he said the JUI-F had decided to contest the local government elections in the Punjab against the PML-N in alliance with the like-minded parties. He said every Pashto-speaking person was not an Afghan.
Earlier, talking to media, Atta claimed that the JUI-F was the only religio-political party which was protecting Islamic values. He said rule of law and supremacy of the parliament must have to be upheld and PTI MNAs’ resignation issue must be decided in true spirit of the Constitution. Others who spoke on the occasion include JUI-F district ameer Hafiz Atta-ul-Rehman, Dr Ismail Khan and Abdul Jabbar.
