Poetry book launched

Launching ceremony of Rakhshanda Naveed’s fourth poetry collection “Khamoshi ko sunn rahi thee” was held at Alhamra Arts Council’s Hall No. III.
Present day poetry legend Zafar Iqbal presided over the ceremony, while leading literary and social figures like Namia Afzal, Hassan Abbasi, Hameeda Shaheen, Iqbal Raahi, Ijaz Rizvi, Dr. Ghaafir Shehzad, Dr. Umer Aadil, Ghulam Hussain Sajid, Dr. Sughra Sadaf, Farhat Perveen, Bushra Rehman, Najeeb Ahmadand Ata-ul-Haq Qasmi attended the function.
Overall impression was that Rakhshanda was a representative poetess of her era. She is continuing her poetic journey without caring for reward and praise. —Correspondent
