Bhakkar dist budget approved

BHAKKAR: The district government has approved Rs 6,147,700,000 budget for Bhakkar district.
Giving details, DO Finance & Budget Muhammad Akram said that Rs 5,194,700,000 had been allocated for non-development expenditure whereas Rs 646,000,000 funds had been reserved for development. The maximum amount of Rs 3,460,000,000 had been allocated for education and Rs 1,050,000,000 for health sectors respectively. He assured that the quality of material and work would be checked strictly and regularly.
SECTION 144: The DCO on Friday imposed Section 144 in the district.
Under the ban, swimming in canals would be banned.
