LAHORE: Jamaat-ud-Dawa ameer Hafiz Muhammad Saeed on Thursday announced launching a countrywide movement to protect and promote the ideology of Pakistan from August 1, 2015.
Addressing the party workers at Jamia Al-Qudsia, Saeed issued a schedule of conferences, protest rallies and public meetings in all the provinces and Azad Kashmir. He also invited the leadership of all political and religious parties to address the nation on the Pakistan ideology at these conferences, rallies and public meetings.
He said the one-sided efforts by the Pakistan government for establishing friendship and better relations with India had frustrated the Kashmiri Muslims who had been fighting a freedom struggle against Indian occupant army.
He said Kashmiris were sacrificing their lives while hoisting the Pakistani flag in Srinagar, and it was obligatory upon the Pakistan government to respect and reciprocate their feelings. Saeed said he was building consensus with other political and religious parties and literati and intellectuals of the country for successfully promoting the ideology of Pakistan.
He alleged that India was promoting terrorism and sectarianism in Balochistan, Sindh and other parts of the country.“India hatches conspiracies and subversion against Pakistan and always try to blame Pakistan for such acts,” he added.
