KARAK: Four persons including a minor boy were killed and 17 others sustained injuries in a road accident on the Indus Highway in the limits of Karak Police Station on Tuesday, police sources said.
The sources said a Karachi-bound bus (IDS-7303) was overtaking a vehicle when it hit a bank cash vehicle near Jamia Chowk. Three persons identified as driver Zafrullah, Mir Sahib Khan, Rast Baz Khan and an eight-year old boy Danyal, resident of Shabqadar, were killed on the spot and 17 others were wounded.
Our correspondent in Nowshera adds: Four persons including two minor girls were injured in a road accident on Grand Trunk Road near Hakimabad on Tuesday, official sources said. Mehmood reported to the police that he along with his family was on his way to Peshawar from Rawalpindi when a vehicle hit their motorcar. As a result, four persons sustained injuries. The injured including Shama Bibi, three-year old Khushi, seven-year old Sakna and Kanwal Bibi were rushed to the hospital wherefrom Shama was shifted to a hospital in Peshawar.
