Christian murdered over living at Muslim graveyard

OKARA: A Christian man was shot dead on Tuesday. Shaukat William Masih was living in the area of a Muslim graveyard in Chak 31/2R. Villagers used to ask him to leave Muslim graveyard because he was a Christian.
But he ignored them. Reportedly, on the day of incident Shafique, Khalid Maqsood and their accomplices shot him dead.
AWARDED DEATH: A man was awarded death sentence by Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Nadeem Shaukat for killing his father-in-law and mother-in-law.
Accused Ikram and his accomplice had shot dead Muhammad Ikram and his wife Nadia Mehboob five years ago over an issue of brining back his wife.
The accused was also fined Rs 200,000.The court acquitted co-accused Abdul Khaliq by giving him the benefit of the doubt.
