JHANG: The district government revised fees of CT scan, ultrasound and indoor patients’ admission to the DHQ Hospital on Tuesday.
The district government vide notification (2409/HC(HRM) has approved new reduced fee schedule besides ending 35 per cent share of doctors and staff of the Radiology Department, which was started in 2006 in the non-teaching DHQ hospital. The ultrasound examination at the hospital will be free of cost for all patients visiting the OPD, emergency and indoor wards.
Earlier, the CT scan system was installed in the DHQ Hospital Radiology Department in 2006 and rate of examination was fixed Rs 1,500 besides 35 per cent share of doctors and 20 per cent of staff of the Radiology Department.
IRMNCH Nutrition and National Programme District Coordinator Dr Zulfiqar Ali while talking with the scribe confirmed the notification.
