A teenager and an alleged commander of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) were among two killed in separate incidents on Sunday.
Nasir Behram alias Mama, 40, was shot dead by unidentified men outside his house, situated in the Hasan Oliya Colony, Old Golimar.
According to officials of the Pak Colony police station, Behram was the area commander of the BLA and had a dispute with a gangster named Ahmed Ali Magsi; they claimed that his killing was probably a result of the enmity.
His body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for post-mortem examination.
Stray bullet kills teen
According to Sukhan police station SHO, Muhammad Mithal, 13-year-old Khanzali died after being hit by a stray bullet in Bakhtawar Goth, Landhi after residents of a lane got into a fight over flying pigeons.
The argument turned violent after some residents opened fire at each other; several others got injured.
He was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where he succumbed to his injuries.
SHO Mithal claimed that raids were being conducted for the arrest of the culprits.
Body found
A body of an unidentified man was found near the Northern Bypass, within the jurisdiction of the Surjani Town police station.
The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem examination.
According to police officials, the deceased was shot in the head after being kidnapped by unidentified men from an unknown place and while his body was dumped in their jurisdiction.
The motive behind the killing would only be ascertained after he was identified, the officials stated.
Two die in road accidents
Two people were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents on Sunday.
Naeem Ahmed, 45, was knocked down to death when a speeding vehicle hit his motorcycle near Gulshan-e-Mazdoor, in Baldia Town police limits. An unidentified man, said to be around 25 years of age, was killed and two of his friends injured when a vehicle rammed into their motorcycle on Sea View Road in Darakshan police jurisdiction.
