PESHAWAR: The Apex Committee in its monthly meeting held at the Corps Headquarters here Thursday reviewed the law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the meeting was chaired by Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan and attended by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, Corps Commander Lieutenant General Hidayat Ur Rehman and other senior officials.
The committee took stock of the prevailing law and order situation in the province and Fata.The statement said the participants were also briefed about the ongoing military operations in Fata and steps being taken for the early return of the internally displaced persons and their rehabilitation.The progress on development works initiated in Fata was also reviewed.
