Teenage girl, housewife commit suicide

A teenage girl and a housewife committed suicide in their Orangi Town and Gulistan-e-Jauhar residences on Thursday.
Ateeqa, 17, after quarrel with her mother locked herself in a room of her Bangla Bazaar residence and hanged herself to death from a ceiling fan.
According to the police, the girl did not want to marry the man her parents wanted her to.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Mehreen after quarrel with her husband locked herself in a room of her Sachal Goth residence and hanged herself to death from a ceiling fan.
According to the police, deceased was the mother of two children and after exchange hot words with her husband she got disheartened and committed suicide.
