Power

This refers to the article, ‘Power’ (June 28) by Dr Farrukh Saleem. Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Let us hope and pray that democracy is given a chance in our country. If the democratic setup fails to deliver then people, who wield the real power, will boot the self-seeking, power-hungry and inefficient public representatives out as is done in most democratic countries.
