GUJRANWALA: A man was killed and two others were injured in a road accident at Khiali Bypass.
A crane was towing another crane when they lost balance and overturned. As a result, 87-year-old Ashiq was killed on the spot while two others, including Gul Nawaz, were injured.
Six awarded death in multiple murder case

GUJRANWALA: Additional Sessions Judge Muzamil Musa on Monday convicted six accused in a multiple murder case registered with Aroop police.
The court awarded death sentence and Rs 200,000 fine each to Umar, Rafaqat, Nazir, Ashraf, Akram and Boota. The court, however, acquitted co-accused Nazir and Shabbir, giving them the benefit of the doubt. The prosecution said that the convicts had killed their rivals Abdullah, Aslam, Ramzan, Sharif, Saleem and Boota over a land dispute on October 3, 2010.
