Tribute paid to Nawaz on Youm-e-Takbeer
MULTAN: The PML-N Women Wing activists took out a rally to observe Youm-e-Takbeer here on Tuesday.
The PML-N women activists led by Sultana Sheen paid rich tribute to former premier Mian Nawaz Sharif for carrying out atomic blasts on May 28. The participants of the rally, which started from Chungi No 7 and culminated at Chowk Kutchery, were carrying banners and placards of Mian Nawaz Sharif. Speaking on the occasion, Sultana Shaheen said that Mian Nawaz Sharif made the country’s defense invincible. She said that it was a matter of pride for the entire nation when Pakistan became a nuclear power in 1998.
Sultana Shaheen said that the PML-N was the only force that could produce miracles. She said that the Motorway was constructed that proved a backbone for the country’s economic growth.
Dr Hamida Khanum, Fehmida Chohan, Robina Shaheen Sarwat, Afsheen Butt and others also spoke.
FAISALABAD: The nation observed the Youm-e-Takbeer with fervour and national enthusiasm here on Tuesday.
In this connection, the PML-N leaders and activists held a number of meetings in various parts of the district to mark the day.
The main meeting was held at Rehman Town in which PML- N Punjab president MNA Rana Sanaullah Khan was the chief guest while ex-MNA Mian Abdul Mannan was guest of honour. Sheikh Ejaz Ahmad, Haji Akram Ansari, Rana Ali Abbas, Malik Muhammad Nawaz and a large number of PML-N activists participated in the function. The PML-N leaders paid rich tribute to former premier Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for conducting six atomic explosions on May 28, 1998.

Addressing a gathering here on Tuesday, the PML-N leader paid rich tribute to Mian Nawaz Sharif and nuclear scientists for making the country a nuclear power. Nawaz Sharif always preferred the country’s interests, he added.
