A meeting of Punjab University’s Advanced Studies and Research Board (AS&RB) was held on Tuesday which approved 22 PhD synopses, six evaluation reports and eight panels of examiners.
The meeting, chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, further approved four extension cases and five miscellaneous cases. The board also appreciated the meritorious services rendered by Prof Dr Muhammad Ehsan Malik who was going to retire on June 24 (today). Prof Dr Muhammad Ehsan Malik, Prof Dr Mobashar Ahmad Butt, Prof Dr Zakria Zakir, Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Chawla, Prof Dr Hassan Mobin Alam, Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan, Prof Dr Javed Iqbal Qazi, Prof Dr Tahira Basharat, Dr Shazia Naureen Qureshi, Chairperson DPCC Prof Dr Kanwal Amin, Controller of Examinations Prof Dr Shahid Munir, Registrar Prof Dr Liaqat Ali and Additional Registrar Dr Kamran Abid attended the meeting.
