LAHORE PTI central secretary information Naeem-ul-Haq called on Punjab PTI organiser Ch Muhammad Sarwar on Tuesday. According to a press release, both the leaders discussed matters related to the reorganisation of the party and important national issues besides political situation in Punjab. They reviewed future political strategy in the province. On this occasion, Ch Sarwar said workers of the party were delivering the PTI’s manifesto and the message of Chairman Imran Khan to people. He said a massive drive to contact and educate people about the upcoming local bodies elections would be launched soon to mobilise the masses at union council and village level. He criticised the government for not being able to control electricity loadshedding across the country which has compelled everyone to come on roads. He said the rulers gave nothing to people except price hike, unemployment and loadshedding as they had failed to deliver. He said the rulers instead of resolving the energy crises and taking sincere steps to provide relief to people in Ramazan were playing tricks with people, which was an irony. Ch Sarwar said the rulers should set the resolution of energy crisis as their top priority instead of constructing bridges and roads. He said the government should resolve burning issues like electricity shortfall, unemployment and poverty as they had promised during their election campaign.
