LONDON: South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir has signed for Surrey for the duration of the Vitality T20 Blast, the club confirmed on Tuesday. Tahir’s signing fills the county’s second overseas spot with Australian batsman Aaron Finch previously having been signed.Tahir will be part of South Africa’s squad for the World Cup in England and he will join up with Surrey after the tournament. He will be available for the whole Blast campaign which begins against Essex on July 19 and involves 14 group matches.
