Indian troops kill two Kashmiris in Shopian

ISLAMABAD: Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism killed two Kashmiri youths in Shopian district of occupied Kashmir on Monday.
The youths were killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Satipora area of the district, the Kashmir Media Service reported. The slain youths were identified as Basharat Ahmad and Tariq Ahmad.
Police claimed that Tariq Ahmad, a resident of Khasipora, was a former Special Police officer, who joined armed struggle in April last year.
The killing triggered clashes between local youths and the forces’ personnel in the area. The authorities snapped internet services in the southern district, while troops launched a search operation in Bijbehara area of Islamabad district.
