ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Wednesday walked out from the proceedings of the National Assembly announcing to continue the boycott of the session until and unless Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif apologises for his statement on

MQM legislator Asif Husnanin wanted to speak on point of order but Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbassi did not allow him but he continued to speak without mike and said that Khawaja Asif had hurt the sentiments of the Mohajir community who had sacrificed for the creation of Pakistan.‘Unless and until Khawaja Asif did not seek the apology, we will boycott the session,” he said while staging the walkout from the National Assembly along with the MQM legislators.
