The Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) has passed Rs1,025 million budget for the financial year 2015-16 showing a deficit of Rs 2 million.
The budget was passed at a meeting of SSUET’s board of governors on Wednesday. The budget showed the current expenditure at Rs884 million with Rs141 million to be spent on development. The university will be spending Rs37.3 million on up-gradation of its labs while Rs40 million has been set aside for scholarships.
