Roots International Schools and a flagship project of Roots International Schools(RIS) Metropolitan International University College’s held two back to back Orientation and Counseling sessions in twin cities for briefing students about IGCSE, A-levels & Undergrad programmes offered by MIUC including University of London programmes, B.Sc, ACCA, LLB, FD, IFP & HND.
The guest speakers included Waqar Shah, Commercial Manager (Vocational) Pearson Pakistan; two USEFP representatives Ali Abbas Agha and Sameea Butt; Asad Mehmood, the Business Relationship Manager, ACCA Pakistan; Noor Raza Cheema, the Guidance Counselor/Manager Global Reach, School Links and International Placements; Kulsoom Tanvir, IBDP coordinator and DQCA; Tameema Tasnim GM Trainings, Continuous Professional and Organizational Development; and Walid Mushtaq, CEO RIS & MIUC, were among the professionals and renowned career counselors.
With the sixth session `of Series of Orientation and Counseling Session organised by Roots International Schools came to an end today. First session was held at RIS Wellington Campus, H-8/4 Islamabad and the second evening session at a local hotel in Rawalpindi for RIS and MIUC. These orientation sessions are specifically designed to enlighten and educate parents and students about the scope of qualifications and counsel them for their future academic decisions based on the abilities and interests of the student. Roots International Schools’ agenda is the advancement and dissemination of knowledge, to spur critical and intellectual deliberations, enable future generations to have aspirations and empower them to compete globally. Roots International is playing the leading role in elevating the educational standards into the modern 21st century schooling model.
These sessions were organized with the sole purpose of enlightening the students and parents and by interacting with the most powerful & influential icon for youth, a globally recognized & acclaimed career counselor, educationist & mentor, Walid Mushtaq himself, CEO, Roots International Schools, Pakistan. The global reach department of RIS was there to counsel the students about foreign scholarships and to guide them how to make their way to top ranked International University like Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth, Colombia, Oxford, Cambridge or Brown University. Roots International School’s students have made their mark on the Globe and would continue to do so with the dynamic leadership of Walid Mushtaq and the dedicated staff and career counselor.
