A new sensational perfume, Eros Pour Femme, was launched amid all the glamour and pomp at the Shapes Health Club on Tuesday evening.
The function was attended by the town’s most hip and happening set complete with their unconventional attire and make-up.
Mohsin Feroze, the CEO of Scentsation, the perfume retail outlet behind the launch, recollected the achievements of his company since 2002.
He talked in detail about the launch of the Versace perfume in Pakistan. The launch was accompanied by rollicking music by vocalist Aliya Chinoy and her band, complete with the dazzling lights, music which captivated the younger generation, with percussions overshadowing the strings. The mature section of the guests must have had other opinions about it.
There were visuals along with the music which were suggestive of the way a powerful perfume can lead to the ultimate in physical intimacy.
There were four male and four female models, the females in the most glamorous of attires, and the male models clad just in trunks with bows slung across their backs, suggestive of their being hunters, walking the catwalk.
The denouement comes with the four male and four female models ending up arm-in arm, suggesting the hypnotic seductive power of the perfume.
Among the many celebrities at the glamorous function were noted TV star Atiqa Odho looking absolutely radiant and lighting up the venue with her glamorous appearance, cricketing icon Wasim Akram, and his wife, Shaniera Akram.
The perfume is marketed in a striking bottle which is suggestive of various facets of Greek mythology and the importance the ancient Greeks attached to perfumery.
