Three children drown in Karachi Nullah

KARACHI: The bodies of the three children who drowned in a waste water nullah in Karachi's district Central earlier in the day were recovered on Tuesday night.
Fortunately, a fourth boy was rescued. All of them are stated to be 10 to 14 years old. According to police, one of the four children, stated to be garbage pickers, had slipped into the open sewage nullah while collecting trash from the garbage dump in the Nusrat Bhutto Colony, North Nazimabad.
The other three also jumped in to save each other and drowned. The survivor and the bodies were moved to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem and treatment.
