Quran Khawani for CM’s father
LAHORE: Quran Khawani for the departed soul of Sardar Fatah Muhammad Khan Buzdar, father of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, was held at Punjab Civil Officers Mess here Friday.
Fateha was offered for the departed soul.
Qari Rafi-ud-Din Sialvi recited the verses from the Holy Quran while Marghoob Hamdani and Provincial Minister Pir Syed Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah recited Naat.
Khateeb Badshahi Masjid Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi prayed for the departed soul of Sardar Fatah Muhammad Buzdar.
Parliamentarians, political leaders, important personalities and a large number of people attended the Quran Khawani. Various people also condoled with the chief minister and paid tributes to the services to his late father. Meanwhile, Gilgit-Baltistan Governor Raja Jalal Hussain Maqpoon called on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar here Friday. He offered condolences on demise of father of the chief minister, offered Fateha for the departed soul and expressed heartfelt sympathies with Usman Buzdar.

Usman Buzdar sought a report from the secretary primary and secondary health about a news item regarding the birth of a child outside the DHQ hospital, Toba Tek Singh. The chief minister also took notice of murder of an eight-year-old girl in Drahama area of Dera Ghazi Khan and sought a report from the RPO DG Khan.
