Nepalese food festival opens
Islamabad : Meant to celebrate the vibrant, diverse culture of Nepal, the two-day Nepalese Food Festival will open at the Islamabad Marriott Hotel here on Thursday.
The organisers said the event, the first of its kind and to be organised by the hotel in collaboration with the Embassy of Nepal, would offer food enthusiasts a slice of Nepalese cuisine that combined traditional flavours with a unique flair.
Guest chef Shiva Roka, who has flown all the way from Fairfield Marriott, Nepal, and Executive Chef of the Islamabad Marriott Hotel Chef Thomas along with their teams will offer mouth-watering delights from the exquisite cuisine and extend warm hospitality all the way from Kathmandu to the Coffee Shop of the hotel.
During the festival, only the finest and freshest ingredients will be used to create an exotic menu that combines healthy eating with tasty flavours, bringing native ingredients to serve the most authentic dishes to the lovers of the unique Nepalese cuisine.
