NOWSHERA: The police here on Saturday claimed to have busted a four-member gang of car-lifters and recovered stolen cars and cash.
Speaking at a press conference, District Police Officer Mansoor Aman said the ringleader belonging to the Charsadda district was a student of the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar.
He said the gang had recently snatched a car from a man in the Nowshera city at gunpoint. He said that the gangsters also snatched a car from another man in Pirpiai.
The official said that acting on public complaints, the police launched investigations and traced out the gang. He said that arrests were made during a raid.The accused were as Owais (ringleader), Awal Said, Lal Mohammad and Luqman.
