LAHORE: PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shahbaz on Wednesday appeared before Accountability Court Judge Najamul Hassan amid tight security.
The court adjourned the hearing till April 9 in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case without framing charges. Meanwhile, the same court adjourned the hearing of the Ashiana Housing scam after recording the statement of a prosecution witness. The court has summoned two more witnesses on April 9.
On Wednesday, the counsel of the accused in the Ashiana scam implored the court to notrecord the statement of the prosecution witness due to lawyers’ strike.
