LAHORE: The Railways Minister, Sh Rashid, has disclosed that the government is bringing a new NAB law soon and at the present is not considering amending the 18th Amendment.

Sh Rashid was addressing a press conference at the Railways Headquarters on Wednesday, adding he sees no political future of Sharif and Zardari families. He told a reporter that no sooner Nawaz was out of power there was no ailment that he missed catching. To another question, he said the former president Asif Ali Zardari used to spend some of the money he made when in power but Sharif family would not spend even five rupees out of their ‘fortunes’ they had made.

He warned that if Pakistan entered into another deal with the IMF, inflation could rise in the country. He told a questioner that he would not vote in support of changing the NAB ordinance.

To a question, he said he is contemplating going to the International Court of Justice against the Indian Supreme Court decision of exonerating all the accused of Samjhauta Express arson.

He said the Indian government stirred tensions for creating favourable situation before the coming elections. He said the Pakistan Air Force and the navy wanted to be given permission to strike back since they had key enemy targets at their aim. He said an Indian submarine was also at our aim, adding that when India aimed nine missiles at Pakistan, we had targeted 21 missiles at the enemy.

He said Royal Palm Club has not paid a single rupee to the railways despite having thousands of members and a huge capital. He said influential contractors of the Business Express and Shalimar Express also owed railways huge money but defaulted on payments which caused losses to the public service transport system.

He announced that Prime Minister Imran Khan would inaugurate renovated Lahore Railway Station and newly-commissioned Jinnah Express train between Lahore and Karachi, which will offer dinner, breakfast, bedding and wifi for only Rs6,500 fare.
