‘Azme Aalishan Group' of students of Qaumi Tarana Foundation (founded and headed by Dr Aziz Ahmad Hashmi) belonging to schools of Anjuman Faizul Islam, were taken to Aiwan-i-Sir Syed of Sir Syed University, Islamabad, says a press release.
They were enlightened about different stages of history exquisitely elaborated in different parts of the museum, covering a period of centuries, from the Moguls to the establishment of Pakistan. They took keen interest in the pieces of art and calligraphy exhibited there. The background of each was narrated and it seemed that entire history of the period was unfolded to them.
Later in the conference room, Assistant Director Saleem Kazmi addressed the students and stressed the need for character building and exhorted them to follow the Allama Iqbal and the Quaid-i-Azam in this regard. The visit concluded with rendition of national anthem led by Dr Aziz Ahmad Hashmi
