A man was found dead in mysterious circumstances in his house in Surjani Town’s Sector 7-C on Monday. Reacting to the information, volunteers of the Chhipa Welfare Association reached the house and moved the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police, while quoting the deceased’s family, said 23-year-old Zeeshan, son of Mursaleen, had been depressed for the last few days and lived alone. They added that he apparently committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan. In Soldier Bazaar, a 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his house.
Police officials said the body was shifted to the Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to his family for burial. The deceased’s family said that Faisal Abbas took his life apparently over domestic issues.
In Baldia Town, a young man was found dead in his house at Yousuf Goth. The body was taken to the Civil Hospital for an autopsy and later handed over to his family for burial. The police said 20-year-old Ghaffar Manzur committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan over family issues.
