Three dead, two injured in various incidents
LAHORE: At least three people including two children died and two others were injured in separate incidents in different areas of Lahore on Sunday.
Police said that unidentified armed men opened fire at pedestrians at Ravi Road near Metro Station Batti Chowk Lahore resultantly 26 year old Akhtar alias Mithoo was killed on the spot and two others including Akbar and Taj Muhammad sustained bullet wounds.
Two children including seven year old Sufiyan and Arslan 09 were burnt to death due to fire in a house in Chauhang area. The fire initiated from Mortein coil engulfed the carpet and the fire spread to whole room resultantly both children were scorched and died. The bodies and injured of both incidents were shifted to different hospitals of respective areas.
