Flag hoisting of Pakistan Day held in Cairo
CAIRO: A flag hoisting ceremony was held in the premises of Embassy of Pakistan in Cairo on Saturday to celebrate 79th Resolution Day of Pakistan.
Students of Pakistan International School Cairo (PISC) performed brilliantly on the music of national and folk songs. Earlier, Chamberlain of the Presidency of the Arab Republic of Egypt called on the Ambassador of Pakistan to Cairo Mushtaq Ali Shah to convey felicitations from Egyptian Abdel Fattah Al Sisi to the government and the people of Pakistan on the celebrations of Pakistan Day. Addressing the community, the Ambassador Mushtaq Ali Shah highlighted radical reforms introduced by the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan for efficient delivery of services to citizens. He particularly recalled the launching of Online Citizens Portal, which was accessible to all citizens at home and abroad and was being monitored directly from the Prime Minister’s Office. He also expressed satisfaction at the progress made in relations between Egypt and Pakistan during the past few months and said that the relations were now set to expand and strengthen in all domains in the coming years.
