Islamabad: The National Book Foundation (NBF) has nominated Roots Millennium Schools (RMS) CEO & The Millennium University College (TMUC) Rector Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, TI, as its 'Book Ambassador' for 2015-2016, says a press release.
Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq lays great emphasis on promoting a culture of reading among the students of Pakistan.
He says "Through hearing stories, children are exposed to a rich and wide vocabulary. This helps them build their own vocabulary and improve their understanding when they listen, which is vital as they start to read."
He has made efforts in order to promote reading habit among students for their intellectual growth and strengthening of their analytical skills. In view of the significance of reading, he has introduced a 'Reading Enrichment Programme' at the Roots Millennium Schools nationwide.
In order to acknowledge his efforts, Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq has been nominated as the 'Book Ambassador' for the year 2015-2016 by the National Book Foundation, Islamabad.
Roots Millennium Schools Director Sabina Zakir has also been nominated as the 'Book Ambassador' for the year 2015-2016.
