PTCL asks subscribers to opt for e-billing
MULTAN: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has asked all subscribers to opt e-billing instead of monthly paper bills. The PTCL’s step is deemed as saving the environment from degradation and providing an opportunity to people to contribute for environment.
The PTCL chief commercial officer said it would be a significant step towards keeping environment clean. He said customers could subscribe online through the PTCL website at ptcl.com.pk/eBill and through the TouchApp (Android & iOS).
They can also call on the PTCL helpline 1218, subscribe to e-Billing and opt out of receiving paper bills. All the new customers are now receiving only e-Bills. Furthermore, customers can pay their bills without showing a paper bill using U-Paisa. They only need to provide a telephone number with the area code. PTCL is contributing towards saving the environment and a greener Pakistan.
