MULTAN: PPP senior leader and former premier Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that the US should play role in de-escalation tension between Pakistan and India.
He was talking to journalists along with US Consul General in Lahore Colleen Crenwelge at the shrine of Hazrat Musa Pak (RA) on Tuesday. Gilani said that the US was an important country and the US had supported Pakistan on different occasions.
He congratulated the nation on successful holding of the PSL matches in Pakistan and said that the whole credit goes to the Punjab government and other departments concerned. Condemning the New Zealand incident, he said that the government should take up the matter with the OIC.
