PPP workers protest against Sh Rashid
LAHORE: Peoples Youth Organization (PYO) activists on Monday staged demonstration against Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed for threatening PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The protestors also set on fire the effigy of Sheikh Rashid and warned him to avoid using objectionable language against Bilawal, which otherwise could cost him heavily. They also chanted slogans against the minister who was also in Lahore the same day.
Speaking on the occasion, Zohaib Butt, PYO president, said the party jialas would no more tolerate the mudslinging and objectionable language used by Sheikh Rashid against Bilawal. He said Sheikh Rasheed had publicly threatened the PPP Chairman and for that he must be tried in the court of law. The protest was also attended by Allama Yusuf Awan, Umar Athwal, Mohsin Ali, Yasir Bara and others.
