PESHAWAR: Lawyers in Bannu district on Monday withdrew their call for strike after successful talks with the administration of the Peshawar High Court regarding early completion of the building of PHC Bannu Circuit Bench and provision of facilities to the lawyers. The PHC Bannu Bar Association and Bannu Bar Association had announced the strike due to shifting of the PHC Bannu Circuit Bench to an under-construction building and non-availability of facilities for the lawyers there. On Monday, the boycott call was withdrawn after the PHC administration assured the lawyers of an early construction of the building for PHC Bannu bench and provision of facilities there.
