LANDIKOTAL: Two drivers were killed when a vehicle collided with a truck near Michini checkpoint in Landikotal, sources said on Monday. The drivers who were killed were identified as Samar Khan and Sajjad, belonging to Ghanikhel area. A trailer (TLC-142) bound for Afghanistan and carrying containers from Pakistan, got out of the driver’s control due to the brake failure and hit a truck, the sources said. Soon after the incident, Assistant Commissioner of Landikotal Muhammad Imran and Subedar Hikmat Afridi along with a contingent of Khassadars reached the spot. The two bodies were retrieved and shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
