LAHORE: Employees of the Communication and Works (C&W) Department held a protest against contractors who tortured SDO Fayyaz Mahmood.
As a result, no official work was performed in all circles, divisions and sub-divisions. All employees of the department participated in a protest camp on Macleod Road, Lahore. The protesters pledged to continue protest till the arrest of the accused. Leaders including Shaban Anjum, Mukhtar Gujjar, Khalid Yasin, Numan Tipu, Hnaif Jutt and Mian Basharat said that no one would be allowed to exploit the employees. They demanded the C&W secretary take action the mafia and include their names in the black list.
