SARGODHA: Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Regional Director Asim Raza Monday ordered a case against three people, including a municipal officer (Infrastructure) over misusing of power and corruption. The ACE came to know that Hameed Ullah Khan, a contractor of local government, in collusion with municipal officer (infrastructure) Mukhtar Ahmad, Sub-Engineers Sultan Ahmad and Hassan Akhtar got contract of establishing Sahulat Baazar at Shahpur Sadr. Hameed used defective materials causing a loss of Rs 2.5 million to national exchequer. On the report of inquiry officer deputy director (Technical) Imam Bakhsh, the ACE regional director ordered a case against the accused.
