Pakistan proves its superiority over India, says Baloch
LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch said Pakistan was created for practicing Quran and Sunnah under the guidance of Prophet (PBUH), therefore, the country’s defence was the religious and national obligation of people.
Pakistan had proved its superiority over India in displaying complete national unity besides countering enemy attacks on the naval, land and aerial fronts, he said while talking to newsmen after addressing a seminar here on Monday.
Liaquat Baloch said Indian leadership’s jingoism itself had brought humiliation to Indian nation. However, he said war threats of India had not fade away and Delhi could make any war move at any moment for which ‘our nation should maintain complete unity and remain prepared to face Indian designs with the spirit of faith’. Baloch said Indian aggression was going on at the water front also as Delhi was blocking Pakistan’s share of river water. He said India had been building dams unlawfully but the rulers in Islamabad are silent.
Baloch congratulated the doctors and the paramedical staff of the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute for successful liver transplantation. He said the project had been established by Pakistani doctors abroad under the supervision of Dr Saeed Akhtar but had fallen prey to politics. He said the Supreme Court had made the situation regarding PKLI clear while hearing the case, therefore, the Punjab government should not harm the project through delaying tactics.
