Zohra Gul, 35, and her daughter Zoya, 17, were killed in the Memon Goth police remit. The horrific incident took place in morning at a house situated in New Samoo Goth.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Irfan Ali Bahadur of District Malir said that acting on information, police mobiles rushed to the house where they found the two lying critically wounded. The mother and daughter were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), where both were pronounced dead.

Investigations showed that Gul had married Ajab Gul, who is a labourer, some eighteen years ago and they had a daughter, Zoya. The family hailed from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

SSP Bahadur said that police acting on information went to the house where they found both the men lying dead on the floor. After completing the legal formalities, the police moved the bodies to the JPMC for postmortems and started an investigation.

During the investigation, cops found that Waleed was a labourer and Imran was a drug addict, and both of them belonged to the Mohmadan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

When Waheed’s father-in-law, identified as Khan only, visited the house, over which a land dispute was going on, and both started a heated argument, which turned violent.
