Alhamra bids farewell to Chohan
lahore: Arts Council has arranged a farewell party for former information and culture minister Fayyaz–ul-Hassan Chohan on Thursday at Alhamra Art Centre.
Executive Director, Punjab Arts Council, Saman Rai, director art and culture Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, deputy director admin, Lahore Arts Council, Aftab Ansari, deputy director, DGPR, Kiran Butt, Jamshaid Khan, Anss Aslam and other officers were also present. These amateur singers will be given an opportunity to perform in the upcoming music evenings at Alhamra in near future. Lahore Arts Council produces its own musical events to the revitalization of positive and productive cultural activities to fascinate music lovers.
Executive Director, Lahore Arts Council, Ather Ali Khan said this musical hunt is the one of the efforts of Lahore Arts Council for the promotion of art and culture and image of art loving country. He stressed that such activities will be held on regular basis in Alhamra.
