KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly’s session on Thursday turned ugly when lawmakers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) attempted to physically stop a Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) legislator from presenting a privilege motion against the opposition leader in the House.

The MMA lawmaker Syed Abdul Rasheed was presenting a privilege motion against PTI's opposition leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi for passing “derogatory” remarks against two opposition legislators: one Rasheed himself and the other of the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).
