Lahore High Court Justice Mansoor Ali Shah Wednesday summoned some responsible officers of Faisalabad Agricultural University on a petition filed by a student seeking directives for the university to issue him a master degree.
The student complained the court that the university administration was not issuing him degree. The petitioner appearing before the court in person submitted that he completed his MSc Chemistry degree from the university with a special permission for appearing in a semester for marks improvement. He said he completed his masters in 2013, but the varsity administration was not issuing him his degree, contending he was given permission for improvement against the rules. He said the university administration told him that the university by mistake had given him permission, therefore, he would not be issued degree with improved marks. He told the court that he had filed his petition in 2013 which was still pending for adjudication. The judge summoned the university officials for Thursday (today).

He said the month of May had passed, but he was paid.
